FAQ

The practical questions before you buy.

If your business is more complicated than the answers below, ask us to show you the setup we would recommend rather than guessing.

Do customers need an app?

No. Compatible smartphones can use NFC directly, and QR is available where it suits the chosen setup.

What happens when somebody taps?

The device opens the destination we programme — commonly your Google review page or the optional ReviewWorks Smart Gateway.

How many devices do I need?

It depends on the customer journey. We recommend useful coverage rather than an arbitrary device count.

What is in the Complete Business Pack?

One Countertop Stand, one Tap Card, one Review Plate and programming for NZ$149 incl GST, with your choice of free Christchurch urban onsite setup or free NZ courier.

Can I choose NFC + QR?

Yes. The Review Plate can be Standard NFC or NFC + QR. Both are the same price.

Why use NFC instead of only QR?

A tap removes steps: no opening the camera, framing the code, waiting for focus or dealing with awkward glare and angles.

Can you filter unhappy customers away from Google?

No. ReviewWorks does not review-gate. Private feedback can be offered alongside a public review route without selectively blocking customers.

Do you guarantee reviews or Google rankings?

No. We do not guarantee review volume, ratings, rankings or revenue.

Can I start small?

Yes. One pack is an easy starting point and additional coverage can be added where it genuinely helps.

Is setup included?

The Complete Business Pack includes programming and a choice of free Christchurch urban onsite setup or free NZ courier. Individual hardware does not automatically include an onsite visit.

Not sure what fits?

Tell us how your customers move through the business.

We’ll show you where we would put the useful tap points, what we would skip, and whether you need anything beyond the hardware.
